Q. Having trouble loading some of the documents from this site, is that normal?
A. Try using another type of browser, like explorer, mozilla, or chrome.
Q. I am worried about enroling late, have I missed the start?
A. Please don't. While this may slow the process of allocating you access to the online process, if need be this can be caught up on the Saturday the 18th.
A. Can I enrol on the first day, the 18th?
Q. Yes, it will be easier if you send in your enrolment form as quickly as possible, but if that is not possible, come along 30 minutes early on the Saturday and we can sort this out.
Q. If I haven't been notified how to access the online process starting on the 11th, will this create a problem?
A. Again, please don't worry. The online process is not onerous. If you are unable to access the process till mid week, that will be ok. Alternatively, you can complete the process manually on Saturday the 18th to catch up.
OTHER QUESTIONS
Q. Exactly when is the face to face contact time?
A. May 18 and 19, other requirements can be met by online interaction with MyLO.
Q. Why can't international students enrol in this unit?
A. Students on a student visa are not permitted - under the ESOS Act, to enrol in two degrees simultaneously. To enrol in Festival of Voices units you must enrol via the Bachelor of General Studies. Therefore, unfortunately international students currently enroled in a degree at UTAS will be unable to enrol in Festival of Voices units.
Q. If I complete BMA334 Entrepreneurship and Innovation (in conjunction with the Festival of Voices), do I have to enrol in the second unit, Leadership in Practice?
A. No. While we hope you will consider completing the second unit, you are not obliged to.
